Our client is seeking a part-time or full-time Bookkeeper/Accountant to assist their firm through tax season.  The ideal candidate has experience working in a CPA firm, has an Enrolled Agent certification, is highly detail-oriented, and thrives in client services.

Responsibilities

  • Process client bookkeeping and assist clients with QuickBooks related processes or questions
  • Reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and assist with financial statement preparation
  • Review client financial information, prepare tax returns or review returns and advise on tax related matters.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a full charge bookkeeping and in-house payroll related role a must
  • Experience reviewing/preparing tax returns with Enrolled Agent certification highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associates Degree with equivalent experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks needed
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills a must
