Compensation: $50,000-$70,000

Responsibilities

  • Purchase materials necessary for production by evaluating supplier cost, quality, and delivery times
  • Create, manage, and ensure accuracy of purchase orders
  • Maintain records for purchasing, supplier agreements, and inventory levels
  • Analyzing market trends and pricing to compare and negotiate contracts achieving optimal cost savings for the company
  • Partner with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure inventory is in stock and prevent shortages
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and resolve delivery or quality issues
  • Prepare reports related to procurement, inventory status, and cost analysis

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of current purchasing experience a must
  • Experience working in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or Construction industries a plus
  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Construction Management preferred
  • Working Knowledge in Sage software programs preferred

(SageX3, Mas90, Mas100, Mas200, Business Works, etc.)

  • High Attention to detail and accuracy a must
