Compensation: $50,000-$70,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Purchase materials necessary for production by evaluating supplier cost, quality, and delivery times
- Create, manage, and ensure accuracy of purchase orders
- Maintain records for purchasing, supplier agreements, and inventory levels
- Analyze market trends and pricing to compare and negotiate contracts achieving optimal cost savings for the company
- Partner with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure inventory is stocked and prevent shortages
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and resolve delivery or quality issues
- Prepare reports related to procurement, inventory status, and cost analysis
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of current purchasing experience a must
- Experience working in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or Construction industries a plus!
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Construction Management preferred.
- Working Knowledge in Sage software programs preferred
(SageX3, Mas90, Mas100, Mas200, Business Works, etc.)
- High Attention to detail and accuracy a must
