Our client is seeking a part-time Full-Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage all aspects of their accounting and financial operations, including tax filing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and ability to work independently. Work remotely and process during non-traditional business hours, if you prefer. Local Omaha area candidates only.
Responsibilities
· Process all accounting tasks related to the business operations
· Track inventory, perform account analysis, and distribute reports to management team
· Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
· Prepare quarterly and annual tax reports
· Manage all aspects of general ledger, including journal entries, financial reporting, and tax filing
Qualifications
· 5+ years of full charge bookkeeping experience required
· Public accounting experience strongly desired
· Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with equivalent experience preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks needed
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
